September Kickoff
September Kickoff
We
kicked off the year with a potluck dinner held at All Saints Episcopal
Church, Johnson City.
After the usual superb cuisine provided by our members our new chaplain, the Rev. Joanne Lanfear presided over the installation of officers.
Sarah Sabol had been scheduled to present a short program, but had to cancel when accepted at the last minute as a student at the Interlochen Academy for the Arts. Our chapter had provided a grant to Sarah to assist her tuition at the Interlochen Summer Camp. We're most pleased that this seems to have been something of a stepping stone in Sarah's career path. Our continuing best wishes to Sarah in her endeavors. Sarah sent a very nice note outlining her summer session experience and acceptance into the Academy program.
In lieu of Sarah's presence we held an open console session on All Saints' Reuter organ.
