Bach at Leipzig
Our March 2011 event was our attendance at a splendid Cider Mill Playhouse production of Itamar Moses' play Bach at Leipzig.

The play presents a fictional and farcical account of the shenanigans and intrigue surrounding the auditions to replace the deceased Johann Kuhnau as organist of the Thomaskirche Leipzig, the post ultimately awarded to J. S. Bach. The play is very interestingly structured as a prelude and fugue. The concept came to the playwright from a music course at Yale.

A fine dinner followed at Orlando's restaurant at the En Joie Golf Course in Endicott.
